Their debut single, "Tein kai lottorivini väärin," released in early 2019, quickly became a modern classic, amassing more than 10 million streams and establishing the duo as a fresh and compelling voice in Finnish music. Since their debut single, Maustetytöt have released four studio albums, each of which has consistently ranked among Finland's best-selling records. Numerous awards, gold and platinum records and hundreds of sold-out concerts have further cemented their status as one of the country's most beloved and successful bands. The duo has also gained international visibility through their collaboration with iconic director Aki Kaurismäki on his acclaimed film Fallen Leaves, a partnership that introduced their music to wider audiences beyond Finland. Since 2023, Maustetytöt have toured extensively across Europe, performing in United Kindom, France, Germany, Italy, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Spain, Netherlands, Greece, Poland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, and Estonia. Perhaps the most compelling entry point into the world of Maustetytöt, however, is their uniquely idiosyncratic music videos, which perfectly capture the band's unmistakable aesthetic and bleak sense of humor.
