DUO JATEKOK Rammstein on the Beach 2 March 2027 -- Sono Centrum, Brno French piano duo Duo Jatekok will bring their extraordinary project Rammstein on the Beach to Brno, where the raw energy of rock meets the hypnotic world of musical minimalism. Adéla?de Panaget and Na?ri Badal, who accompanied Rammstein on their spectacular stadium tours, are now taking their fascination with the German band's music in an entirely new direction. Alongside Rammstein, they draw inspiration from the minimalist music of Philip Glass, John Adams and Meredith Monk, bringing seemingly distant musical worlds together in an intense concert experience that transcends genre boundaries. The encounter with the monumental sound and energy of their concerts became one of the impulses for exploring the connection between rock and minimalist music, built around rhythm, repetition and the gradual transformation of musical motifs. "We want to break away from the band and its world and create a concert built primarily around tension -- a performative artistic gesture that puts rhythm and repetition at the forefront, creating a bridge between the powerful, energising world of rock and the subtlety and hypnotic repetition of minimalist music," explain Adéla?de Panaget and Na?ri Badal. The title Rammstein on the Beach also references Philip Glass's seminal minimalist opera Einstein on the Beach. Together with director David Gauchard, lighting designer Antoine Travert and sound designer Clément Mirguet, Duo Jatekok have created a hybrid concert format in which traditional genre boundaries cease to apply. Rather than existing as two separate musical worlds, the music of Rammstein and minimalism gradually flow into one another, creating a continuous stream of sound, rhythm and vibration. Familiar musical motifs take on a new context, placing the listener somewhere between the physical intensity of rock and the precision and hypnotic power of minimalist compositions. "We want to invite the audience to truly feel this fusion of styles, to let themselves be carried away by an uninterrupted flow of sound and experience what music can reveal when it becomes an infinite substance -- a continuum of emotions and vibrations, a sonic trance," Duo Jatekok add.
