IRA jest jednym z najpopularniejszych polskich zespołów lat 90., mający na koncie trzy złote płyty i jedną platynową. Grupa pochodzi z Radomia, zadebiutowała w 1988 roku na festiwalu w Opolu, a dwa lata później ukazał się jej debiutancki album "IRA". Przełom w karierze grupy nastąpił w 1991 roku, wraz z ukazaniem się płyty "Mój dom", która pobiła wszelkie rekordy popularności. Kolejne lata były pasmem sukcesów, co potwierdziła płyta "1993" i wspólny koncert z grupą Aerosmith w Polsce.
