Chris Stewart will bring his project to Mechanik in Warsaw on April 15th. Black Marble emerged from New York's cold wave scene in the early 2010s and quickly caught attention with their distinctive sound, where icy synths, sparse vocals and catchy melodies meet a nostalgic nod to '80s music. From the very beginning, Chris Stewart has drawn inspiration from the likes of New Order, OMD and Ultravox. Over the course of subsequent albums, he has continued to develop this sound, gradually introducing more guitars along the way. Released in August 2026, "Life in Small Spaces" builds on this approach, combining synth-driven soundscapes with a more direct, almost post-punk edge.
